Aromas and flavors of toasty oak, vanilla, butterscotch, melon with a long lengthy finish. This is our most opulent, concentrated and complex Chardonnay yet but still retains balanced acidity. It is wonderful slightly chilled with herb roasted chicken or Dungeness crab cakes.
A dry wine with sparkling acidity around the edges. It has flavors and aromas of green plums, green herbs, fresh pears, honey, anise & granny smith apples and will pair well with a variety of foods or is just as enjoyable on its own.
We have managed to achieve a richer more textural mouthfeel and weight in this wine than one would normally associates with Pinot Gris. It is still fragrant and austere with minerality and acidity and is a versatile wine for summertime sipping or paired with fish or poultry.
